DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

 

1 day a week

Salary: £200 per day (£52,000 pro rata)

Having developed the 12 Ensemble over the last decade from a group of like-minded friends into one of Europe’s leading ensembles, Artistic Directors Eloisa-Fleur Thom and Max Ruisi are now seeking a Development Director (1 day a week, with a view to increasing) to join our rapidly expanding team and lead on all fundraising activities.

 

The Development Director will be responsible for increasing our funding from all sources, predominantly through Trusts, Foundations and Arts Council England but also including Corporates and Individuals. They will play the lead role in securing funding for vital organisational overheads, plus projects including concerts and tours. 

 

Currently a limited company, the ensemble is in the process of transitioning to becoming a registered charity. During this transition period, you will be responsible for identifying, researching and completing relevant funding applications available to charitable organisations in preparation to be submitted as soon as our charitable status is confirmed.

 

You will work closely with the Artistic Directors and Finance Officer to gain an in-depth understanding of all projects, including budgets, which will enable you to make applications to carefully targeted potential sources. You will also devise a Development Strategy which will inform 12 Ensemble’s fundraising activities over the coming five years.
